Partnerships & Affiliations
Quality partnerships with local businesses and community organizations connect the academy with the Detroit community and broaden experiences for its children. The community plays an integral role in providing resources for continued improvement. The academy has established partnerships with the Michigan State Police, Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, Detroit Police Department, Detroit Fire Department and the Wayne County Health Department to provide educational opportunities to its students.
In addition, Mobile Dentists visit the school annually and nursing students from Madonna University address middle school students on proper hygiene and diet. The Reach Detroit partnership worked with families on issues regarding diabetes, nutrition and fitness. Students participated in neighborhood clean-up initiatives.
