Quality Education

Picture
Teachers at Pierre Toussaint Academy are fully certified, highly qualified and dedicated to providing individualized instruction to every child at the academy.

Our curriculum is built on academic rigor and teaches to all learning styles. Our elementary program features small class sizes in a single-classroom environment and serves grades K-3.

In a separate building, the middle school program also benefits from small class sizes and personalized instruction, with the added feature of subject-specific classrooms.

Our academy uses the Kent County Collaborative Core Curriculum (KC4) at all grade levels. This quality, proven curriculum promotes mastery of all core subjects: math, English language arts, social studies and science. Employing various learning styles and teaching strategies, the KC4 curriculum provides the foundation for expanded learning opportunities and enables all students to achieve academic success.

In addition to the core subject areas, we provide instruction in the arts - chorus, art, dance, drama, music, presentation - as well as physical education.
